Degree in Chemical Sciences (1987) at the University of Santiago de Compostela. Doctor in Organic Chemistry from the University of La Coruña (2013) under the direction of Prof. Dr. Carlos Jiménez and Dr. Jaime Rodríguez. She worked on different research projects funded by the NIH and NCI and directed by Prof. Phil Crews at the University of Santa Cruz California (USA). She joined Prof. Enrique Raviña's group at the Santiago de Compostela Faculty of Pharmacy to carry out projects financed by the Allmirall company (Barcelona). Currently she has worked on various projects of the Natural Marine Products Research team (PRONAMAR) of the QUIMOLMAT research group of Prof. Dr. Carlos Jiménez and Dr. Jaime Rodríguez at the University of A Coruña.
