Carmen obtained her BS. degree in Chemistry in 1990 and her Doctorate in Organic Chemistry in 1995 from the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) in Prof. Domingo Domínguez research group. She moved to Oxford University where she worked in the group of Prof. G.W.J. Fleet. She also worked at the USC, and in Galchima S.L., the Institute of Chemical Research (IIQ) in Seville and the University of Minho. Her research interests focus on the synthesis of heterocycles and carbohydrates. |
