Degree in Chemistry (2010) and Master (2013) in Chemistry-Sciences from the National University of Colombia. She received her doctorate from the University of A Coruña (2018) in the QUIMOLMAT group under the direction of professors Dr. Carlos Jiménez and Dr. Jaime Rodríguez. My research has focused mainly on three areas: 1) isolation, purification and characterization of biologically active natural products obtained from the culture of microorganisms. 2) Cloning, expression and purification of recombinant proteins and their possible application as vaccines, 3) preparation of siderophores conjugated to magnetic nanoparticles and their use in the specific detection of pathogens in an aquatic environment. |
